OUR ANIMAL LOVE is a family run business that is certified, bonded, and insured. We began our business in Florida, in 1989, and  continued it here, in NC, since 2000.

We have owned, rescued, and loved animals our whole lives, just like you.  And, just like you, we have found ourselves heartsick over the thought of having to board our pets in a kennel.  It's traumatic for pets to have to be away from their owners. It's even harder on them if they have to be taken away from their home and all the "creature comforts" they rely on during our absence.

Before we started OUR ANIMAL LOVE, I worked for a veterinarian with a very busy practice. We did all we could to make our boarders as happy and content as possible.  Most kennels provide very good care of their temporary "guests".  But with so many animals, it is difficult to provide as much personal attention to each pet as they'd like to.  While kennels are certainly a safe and viable option for pet owners, there is another choice available today.

In-your-home pet care is a service that provides a nice alternative to having to put your "best friend" in a kennel, away from their home.  OUR ANIMAL LOVE is just such a service.  Although we realize that we cannot take the place of the owners our pet clients adore, we can give them one-on-one attention, play periods, calm feeding times, and an awful lot of love!

As "parents" of 7 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, 4 goats, 6 bunnies, and a cow named Abigail, we understand how hard it is to have to depend on friends, family, or neighbors to take care of your "buddies" when you're away, even for a weekend. OUR ANIMAL LOVE would be honored to help you and your animals have that peace of mind we know, as pet owners ourselves, is so important.

We will do everything we can to make your leaving a little easier. That's a promise!
